Sounds like you are a bit burnt out. Maybe a good rest from drawing is what you need. Somtimes when I get burnt out, I do something different. I try to draw something that is not characteristic of my work. Look for something that inspires me. conceptart.org is a great place to look for ideas, or inspiration. Have you tried archetecture, or landscapes? Maybe try a different style? Sometimes sticking to one style can wear an artist out. Then again, we all need a break.

I'll probably randomly doodle here and there but nothing I'll post on DA or anything. Maybe drawing something realistic might do some good. The only reason I took this decision was because one of my dearest friends does not like the style I draw in and hid it from me until yesterday. So it kinda of took a heavy hit on me, you know? So I decided to take a break for a while, I don't know how long though. Thanks for all of your help!

Well, I was once told 'Opinions are like buttholes, everyone has one and sometimes they stink.' She is entitled to her opinion, but you can do what makes YOU happy, and that is what matters. If she dont like it, then it is her problem. If your style made you happy, then keep on with it.

Your work is amazing. You're the one who got me into wanting to CG things...you were one of my inspirations.

I understand wanting a break, but just because one person doesn't like it isn't a reason to stop. Or if it is, just think of all the people who LOVE your work. I think that amount outweighs one person, don't you?
